Algorithms, computation, and HCI
This studio sat at the intersection of algorithms, computation, and human-computer interaction (HCI). It looked at the theory behind the resources a system needs, algorithms in particular. Students learned to measure how efficiently an algorithm solves a problem, and looked at what computers can and can't do. The point was to tie that theory back to designing interactions.
