Pranjal Jain
Pranjal Jain is a driven design researcher I first met at Srishti while he was doing his Master's in Human-Centered Design, where his commitment was clear right away. Before that he did an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at the Vellore Institute of Technology, so he comes at design from an unusually broad, interdisciplinary base.
He has about four years of experience leading teams to design digital products and services around what users actually need. He works in human-computer interaction, computer-supported cooperative work, design research, and the ethics of algorithms, and he holds the technology, the user, and the business side together well.
He's now doing a PhD at Swansea University, digging into the relationship between humans and machines. He's proactive and thorough, and I'm looking forward to watching him become a well-known researcher and designer in HCI.
