Vineeta Rath
Vineeta Rath is a design generalist, facilitator, and human-centered designer with a wide-ranging career. She has a Bachelor's in Architecture from the College of Engineering and Technology in Bhubaneswar and a Master's in Industrial Design from IIT Bombay, and she trained as a Usability Analyst at Human Factors International. Her roles have taken her across the world: Design Researcher and Consultant in Mumbai, Lead UX Strategist at Dhobistation, and Senior Human Factors Specialist at Human Factors International in both Johannesburg and Mumbai. She's also worked as a Design Associate and Field Researcher, and as a Samsung Design Member in Seoul, and has contributed at 3M India, IDC at IIT Bombay, and on projects like VISION 2030 at IIT Kharagpur.
What I know best is her teaching. Vineeta and I were colleagues at Srishti Manipal Institute from 2017 to 2022, and between 2021 and 2022 we co-facilitated the Experimental Maths Lab, guiding a group of students we both came to care about a great deal. Her teaching doesn't stop at the classroom; students know her as a kind, patient listener who makes time for personal advice. That care is what sets her apart, as an educator and as someone good to work alongside.
