Simran Singh
Simran is a user experience designer with a talent for making complex ideas easy to understand. She's always after the next thing to learn, which is a pleasure to see. Her work has been shown at Reclaiming AI Futures (2021) and IndiaHCI (2019), and she's especially strong in collaborative settings.
I worked with Simran during her internship at Mathscapes, and the care and thoroughness she showed there carried through her Bachelor's in Human-Centered Design at Srishti. Since 2021 she's been at the Microsoft India Development Center in Hyderabad, on projects that keep stretching her range.
What stays with me is her potential. Her analytical side is catching up fast with her already strong making skills, and she understands the subtleties of the work well enough that I expect her to be leading HCI projects and teams before long.
It's been good to watch her go from a student in my classes to someone shaping where UX is headed. I'm eager to see what she imagines and builds next.
